This Privacy Policy explains how Ping Me (also referred to as “PingMe”, “we”, “us”, or “the app”), developed and maintained by Coderic Technologies, collects, uses, stores, and shares information.

By using Ping Me, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

1. About Ping Me

Ping Me is a reminder and productivity application. It lets users create text and voice reminders, use 50+ quick reminder shortcuts, create seven-day timetables, view reminders on the home, calendar, dashboard, and history screens, receive scheduled notifications, manage members, and use account-based sync and subscription features where available.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

• Name, phone number, email address, profile image, gender, age, authentication type, and account identifiers.
• Information supplied through phone OTP login or supported Google sign-in.
• Subscription status and account preference information.

Reminder and member information

• Reminder title, description, notes, date, time, repeat settings, priority, category, completion state, and notification settings.
• Member names, phone numbers, email addresses, roles, and reminder-sharing details entered by an account holder.
• Notification and reminder history, including read or completion status.

Feature and preference information

• Quick shortcut type, timetable weekday and schedule information, snooze settings, and alarm preferences.
• Voice reminder audio and playback information when you choose to record a voice reminder.
• Panchang reminder selections and weather preferences when you use those features.

Device and technical information

The app and its service providers may process basic technical information needed to operate the app, deliver ads, protect the service, and diagnose errors. Advertising partners may use an advertising identifier and related device signals for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and frequency management, subject to their own policies and your device settings.

3. Guest and Logged-in Storage

• Guest users: reminder data is stored locally on the device using app storage. It is not synced to our server unless the user later signs in and chooses an available sync flow.
• Logged-in users: account, reminder, member, history, and subscription-related data may be sent to and stored on our server to provide sync, sharing, notifications, profile management, and account features.

Removing the app or clearing its storage can delete locally stored guest data. Server data may remain associated with an account until deleted according to our retention and deletion process.

4. Panchang and Weather Features

When you open Panchang, the app may request daily Panchang information such as tithi, nakshatra, sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and related calendar details from our configured service. You can use available Panchang details to create date-based reminders.

When you open Weather, the app may request current weather information such as temperature and conditions from WeatherAPI or another configured weather service. Weather results may be cached locally and refreshed approximately once per hour to reduce repeated requests. These services may process the location or city needed to provide the requested forecast.

5. Notifications, Alarms, and Timetables

Ping Me uses scheduled local notifications and, where supported for signed-in users, server-backed notifications to deliver reminders. Timetable reminders can repeat on selected weekdays, including every day. Delivery can be affected by notification permission, exact-alarm permission, battery optimization, device settings, connectivity, and operating-system restrictions.

If enabled in the app, Ping Me may also send helpful or contextual notifications, such as morning prompts, weather-related information, or reminder suggestions. You can disable notifications from the app or Android settings.

6. Why We Use Information

• To create, save, display, update, and synchronize reminders.
• To schedule alarms and send reminder notifications.
• To authenticate users, send and verify OTPs, and maintain account security.
• To manage profiles, members, shared reminders, history, and account preferences.
• To provide subscriptions, premium access, ad-free features, and payment-related processing.
• To show and measure advertisements, including rewarded and interstitial ads for eligible users.
• To respond to support requests, prevent misuse, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations.

7. App Permissions

Ping Me requests or declares the following permissions only for the related app functions:

• Internet: login, OTP, account sync, member/reminder sharing, subscriptions, Panchang, weather, remote settings, analytics, and ads.
• Network state: detect whether network-backed features can be used.
• Notifications: show scheduled reminder and helpful notifications. You can disable notifications in Android settings.
• Exact alarm: schedule reminders close to their selected time, subject to Android restrictions and device settings.
• Boot completed: restore scheduled reminder alarms after the device restarts.
• Vibration: vibrate for reminder alerts when enabled.
• Microphone/record audio: record voice reminders only when you explicitly start recording.
• Foreground media playback service: support alarm and voice-reminder playback when required.
• Photos/media: if you choose a profile image, the selected image may be processed and uploaded as part of your profile.
• Location, where requested: may be used to provide relevant weather or service information. Location is not required for normal guest use.

Permissions are optional where Android allows them to be optional. Denying a permission can limit the related feature but should not affect unrelated features.

8. Sharing and Third Parties

• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob: advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and interstitial or rewarded ad functionality for eligible free users.
• Firebase services: authentication, push notifications, crash/service operation, and Google Analytics measurement where enabled.
• WeatherAPI or configured weather provider: current weather and forecast data.
• Google sign-in: authentication when you choose Google login.
• Custom advertising service: Coderic Technologies may show image-based custom advertisements configured through our administration system. These ads may record basic delivery/frequency information and may open a configured website when tapped.
• Payment provider: Razorpay or the configured payment service processes subscription checkout. We do not intend to store your full card, UPI, or banking credentials in Ping Me.
• Hosting and service providers: secure infrastructure, database, media storage, email/SMS OTP delivery, and technical support.
• Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, court order, fraud prevention, or protection of users and the service.

We do not sell personal information as a standalone product. Third-party providers may process data under their own privacy policies.

9. OTP and Login

For email login, you provide an email address. We send a one-time password through the configured email service and use the verified email address to find or create your Ping Me account. OTPs should be kept confidential and should never be shared with another person.

Voice recordings

Voice reminders use the microphone to record audio. For logged-in users, voice recordings may be uploaded to and stored on our server for reminder playback and synchronization. Guest recordings are stored locally on the device unless the user signs in and uses an available sync flow.

10. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscription checkout may be handled by Razorpay or another configured payment provider. Payment details are processed by that provider. Ping Me receives limited transaction and subscription information needed to confirm payment, activate premium access, provide ad-free features, and handle support.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and server data only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. You may request account or server-data deletion by contacting us. Guest data can generally be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app, subject to Android behavior and backups.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the information handled by Ping Me. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children

Ping Me is not knowingly directed at children under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
